Visitors also learn about VNY’s contributions in providing vital community services and its rich and colorful history – such as its use over the years as a frequent backdrop for Hollywood films and television shows. Visitors also learn about VNY’s contributions in providing vital community services and its rich and colorful history – such as its use over the years as a frequent backdrop for Hollywood films and television shows. Tours run about 90 minutes and are offered to children (first grade and up) and adults with advanced reservations. The airport will provide an air-conditioned bus for groups of 20 or more. Groups are encouraged to provide their own bus for more flexible dates and times. Please call to book your reservation as soon as possible because space is limited. For those unable to visit the airport, free DVD presentations are also available to groups of 15 or more in San Fernando Valley locations.
